Tiila Abbitt, the founder of Athr Beauty, is a former Product Developer and Head of Sustainability at Sephora. She founded ATHR Beauty to bridge the gap between ethical beauty, sustainability and truly high-performing, innovative and luxurious vegan formulas.

ATHR Beauty was born in the light of the desert sun in Tucson (Arizona, USA). Inspired by the plants around her, Tiila infuses every product with organic, sustainably-sourced desert oils that smooth, brighten, boost collagen and hydrate for healthier skin over time. Desert-derived ingredients like prickly pear seed oil thrive in harsh, moisture-starved desert climates, and bring their resilient, restorative magic to your skin.

Sustainability is at the heart of every decision we make, from ingredient sourcing to packaging and shipping. In 2018, Tiila created the beauty industry's first zero-waste eyeshadow palette and she didn't stop there! All our packaging is made from recycled materials and is 100% recyclable. We use organic, ocean-safe, biodegradable, ethically-sourced ingredients and ban over 3000 ingredients that could harm you, animals, or the planet.

Tiila created ATHR Beauty to do better, that’s why we only work with factories based in the US, Canada and Europe to ensure fair and ethical treatment of the people creating our products from the growers to the manufacturers.
