For all skin types
This lip balm protects the lips from the sun, wind, cold or dry conditions with its nutrient-rich oils, butters and botanical extracts.
Beet root extract: the antioxidants and vitamin C in beetroot protects the skin from early signs of aging and help diminish the appearance e of fine lines on the lips.
Jojoba oil: softens, smoothes and hydrates the skin as it locks in moisture to protect lips in harsh conditions, such as extreme cold, sun, or wind.

HOW TO APPLY
Apply as needed to protect lips in hot, cold, dry or windy conditions.

- For dehydrated lips, reapply after eating or drinking and before bed.
- Apply before wearing lipstick to condition and shield your lips against the impurities in lipstick.
- Can be used on cheeks as well.
For lip balms, I’m used to roll-on applicators or sticks. Why is you lip balm in a jar instead?
The 15 g content of each jar is more than most sticks. With two jars in one package, you can enjoy a much lower product cost with significantly less packaging. A true win-win-win for all, including the planet.
What gives the pinkish red color to Organic Beet Lip Balm?
The source of the red color is the beetroot and alkanet extracts that happen to be super antioxidant botanicals too.
I am concerned about the palm wax in this product. Is it sourced sustainably?
Yes. Our palm wax is not only certified organic, but also certified as sustainably grown and harvested. We would never conceive of doing anything that is harmful to our bodies or the planet. We appreciate and share your care for the planet.
I see other colorants, such as carmine, CI 75470, cochineal extract, crimson lake, or natural red 4 in other lip balms. What is that all about?
They’re all fancy names for an insect-based colorant that is common among many lip balms and other cosmetic products. Don’t know about you, but a lip balm ingredient made from crushed bugs is not our thing. Plus carmine coloring can cause an allergic reaction, even in small doses.

What's the harm of mineral colors in lip balms?
Mineral colors can contain traces of heavy metals. Heavy metals can absorb through the skin or ingested through the mouth in lip products. There is nothing healthful about exposure to heavy metals.
