Yoku was founded in April 2019 by Céline. Concerned about having quality products that respect the environment and health, she decided to sort through her cosmetics, her cleaning products and... her candles! Most cheap (or not!) candles are very often made of paraffin, a component obtained from petroleum, dangerous for your interior and responsible for certain diseases.
For several years, there have been vegetable waxes which are natural, biodegradable and safe for the environment and your health! But be careful, burning something (combustion) will always pollute your interior! This is why you should think about ventilating the rooms as soon as possible. The fragrances used in candles can also be harmful, which is why we choose them without CMR (carcinogenic, mutagenic and reprotoxic) and without phthalates. The idea of making candles that were both pretty and non-toxic then took hold and Celine launched Yoku, somewhat on a whim.
What are our candles made of?
Soy wax: soy wax is natural, plant-based and biodegradable. It is also vegan, GMO-free and does not emit toxic fumes.
Perfumes: fragrances without CMR and without phthalates or essential oils (mentioned by the abbreviations HE).
Wicks: the wicks are made of cotton.
- 120ML amber glass jar with a gold aluminum lid.
- It burns approximately 20 hours.
- Jar dimensions: 58mm wide by 62mm high.
This little amber jar will bring warmth to your interior with its orange light. Its small size makes it the ideal gift or to test the different scents offered.

APPLE CINNAMON
Bewitching olfactory creation that transports you into a warm and comforting atmosphere. The delicious notes of baked apples blend harmoniously with the spices of cinnamon, nutmeg, coriander and clover, creating an irresistible fragrance. The sweet nuances of vanilla, amber, musk and caramelized sugar enhance this composition and bring a sweet and comforting touch.
CEDAR AND JASMINE
This candle is a mesmerizing combination of camphor base notes of balsamic cedarwood and fresh floral top notes of jasmine.

DOUCEUR DE COTON
You will first be greeted by the fresh and sparkling scent of bergamot, which brings a touch of energy and vitality. Then you will smell the woody notes of cedar, which add a warm and soothing dimension. Finally, the rice powder envelops everything with a delicate softness, reminiscent of the sensation of caressed skin.
Top notes: bergamot.
