Comptoir des huiles is a story that began with a trip more than 20 years ago, and which turned into the adventure of a lifetime for Stéphane, my husband, and myself Virginie, founders of the brand.

It was during a trip to Madagascar that we discovered the wealth of the Big Island in oilseeds. From these seeds, we first made vegetable oils (natural, organic, pure and beneficial) and then, natural, healthy and effective cosmetics.

Our products are created from 95% ingredients of natural origin. No petroleum, no dimethicone, methylisothiazolinone, sodium lauryl sulfate, paraben…

Our products are pure and natural, concentrated in vitamins, omega 3 and omega 6 giving them moisturizing, nourishing, anti-aging, firming, protective powers…

Promoting responsible beauty

Comptoir des Huiles has set up a partnership with farmers in Madagascar to sustainably harvest the seeds of its oils. By promoting the seeds available in nature, we encourage the local population to consider forests differently, so as not to see them only as a resource for charcoal. Farmers obtain fair income in the long term and deforestation is stopped in the areas where we harvest.

Respect natural ecosystems

Our seeds are in fact harvested according to an innovative and virtuous harvest cycle set up in partnership with local producers. In this way, we protect the wild nature of the Big Island and fight against deforestation by raising awareness of environmental issues among the farmers we work with. Today, we are partners with more than 13,000 Malagasy farmers.
